Well, Hello there!

Hi I'm Enda and I LOVE what I do!   I am based in Sligo, married to my husband Seán and we have 3 rescue dogs, Harvey a 12 year old golden lab surprise, Jasper, 1.5 year old a tri-colour collie and the most recent addition, Cooper a collie/retriever  who is about 5 months old and is teething like mad. (We lost our best boy Bruno in September 2023 after 14 wonderful years)

How did I end up here?

I studied Business, Marketing & IT in college and have a Masters in Marketing. We got married in 2016 and I thoroughly enjoyed putting together the ceremony with my celebrant Berenice.  I became a team member of the Spiritual Ceremonies family and performed my first wedding ceremony back in 2016. Since then I have gone on to perform more than 800 ceremonies and loved every second of it. It's so true that if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. I feel very lucky that I get to play a small part in some of life's biggest milestones. While the training I received from Spiritual Ceremonies Ireland and working with some of the best and most experienced celebrants in the country was fantastic, there is no better way to learn than from doing. Over the years, I have learned so much from working with couples from diverse backgrounds from all over the world which has helped me shape my outlook on life and has taught me a lot.

My approach is putting the people I work with at the centre of the ceremony. My job is to explain all your options, find out what you like and don't like, create a bespoke ceremony that incorporates all the elements you wish to have in your ceremony. I say to my couples take it that the answer is always YES!* to whatever you want in your ceremony. (*apart from singing, I cannot sing but can recommend some super talented music suppliers ;) )

 I think the day of the long, drawn out impersonal ceremony are gone and couples want a ceremony that truly reflects who they are as a couple. We want your guests to enjoy rather than endure your ceremony. I can offer sample readings, poems and vows for wedding celebrations along with some sample readings and suggestions for content in Naming ceremonies and end of life celebrations.

I have been blessed to have won a few awards over the years and have over 300+ testimonials all of which I am truly grateful for and can't thank my past couples for taking the time to leave testimonials and also vote for me when awards season comes around every year.

Whether you want to include parents, children or even pets in your ceremony, I will guide you through everything.

Aside from walking our dogs in some of the beautiful forests and beaches in my locality, I enjoy kayaking.

So I am a bit of a talker and I find that the best way to get to know me and see if you'd like me as your celebrant is to arrange a video call. If you complete the contact form to check my availability, the admin team will send you an information pack with tons of information. I will then reach out and we can arrange a video call where we can get to know each other and I can answer any questions you may have.

I know when you are planning a wedding or other life celebration, it can be a bit daunting. Relax, I have years of experience at this so you can trust me that you are in very safe hands.
