There are some differences in getting married in Ireland V's Northern Ireland.
Ireland:

Must give a minimum of 3 months notice

Can give notice in any of the HSE Civil Registration Service offices

2 witnesses over the age of 18

Venue must be identifiable by an address, you have permission of the venue owner, the venue is open and accessible to the public and there is a physical structure on the grounds.

Completed paperwork returned to the office within one month of wedding date
Northern Ireland:

Minimum of 28 days notice

Can marry anywhere

Witnesses over the age of 16

Completed paperwork returned to the office within three working days of wedding date
